College Football Betting Trends
It’s opening weekend in the 2006 College football season – and sports punters are wasting no time in backnig the favourites in big numbers.
The opening game on Thursday is Boston College v Central Michigan. Boston College have taken around 75% of the cash but still the line stayed at around -11.
One game where there is movement is in the Iowa State v Toledo game. Iowa State are taking about 85% of the money and have moved from -7.5 to -8.5 as a result.
There is also an awful lot of money going on Wisconson to cover the -10 spread in their game against Bowling Green. As much as 90% of the action so far has been on the Wisconsin Badgers.
Another huge favourite is Penn State who have taken about 80% of the action to beat the -17 point handicap in thier game against Akron. You can still have Penn State at -16 1/2 at some books.
