Choosing your first bookie

One of the contributors to the BookieLabrat.com site is the Gooner from the gambling portal GoonersGuide.com and he’s posted a good thread on his blog about choosing your first sports betting book.
There are hundreds of betting websites out there – but as with all things you have to be selective – and only a small precentage really deliver good value odds and safe betting to the customer.
He discusses some basic things to consider, and then suggests a few good starting places – based on your geographical location – and overall we pretty much agree with his assesment.
