He now boasts a total of 990 career goals, so he needs to score another ten goals to achieve his greatest ambition: reaching the 1,000-goal mark.
Romario made an appearance for PSV against FC Barcelona. Vasco coach Renato brought Romario on after 65 minutes and the 41-year-old star needed just four minutes to score his first goal.
