David Beckham in a pose suggesting he is ready for LA !Money for Nothing
When David Beckham leaves Real Madrid in the summer for the bright lights of Hollywood (LA Galaxy to be exact, which we think is a football club or a strippers bar, not sure yet) he will have one medal in his pocket, a Spanish super cup medal, a bit like the charity shield in England. Beckham, in typical fashion, said he was confused by the lack of success, “It is a surprise Real Madrid haven’t won anything.” Not your fault David, don’t worry about it. “They have had some of the best players in the world; there was Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and Raul.” And what about you? What were you paid to do?

Paddy’s win-draw-win (1X2) odds on Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo are currently sitting at:
Real Madrid  evens (2.00)
Draw            9 – 4 (3.25)
Celta Vigo   13 – 5 (3.60)

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool player transfer news

Sports betting news - football transfer rumours

The latest football transfer news brought to you by Globet International Sports Betting Limited and the team at BookieLabRat.com.

Arsenal battle Chelsea for PSV ace Farfan
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to bring the Peru international to London next season to boost his team’s cutting edge in front of goal. However, any deal is likely to depend on Chelsea, which has a close relationship with PSV. Farfan has also been mentioned as a target for Blues football chief Frank Arnesen, though the return of Hernan Crespo from his loan at Inter Milan could clear the way for Arsenal to snap up the prolific striker this summer.

Irwin urges Man Utd not to sell Heinze
“I have been a big fan of Heinze and at his best I would have him in the team ahead of Patrice Evra because of his defensive qualities. He edges it for me because of that,” Irwin told the Manchester Evening News. “Patrice, however, has been outstanding this season. His improvement has been dramatic. He has come on a ton and United haven’t looked any weaker with him in the side. “So up to a few matches ago he had the position in his grip. It was very hard for Heinze under those circumstances. He fought back early to go the World Cup in Germany last summer with Argentina. I am not sure the club would have been too happy with that. “Nevertheless, he went but suffered a bit as a result this season. Because he wasn’t getting regular matches his game fitness suffered.

“In view of that and how Patrice was playing you did have to wonder if he’d ever get back in on a regular basis and would he put up with that.” But Heinze has finally grabbed his chance again with Evra sidelined to throw the battle for the left-back berth into the air again and possibly alter the thinking on his future in the summer. “I want to see Gabby at United again next season,” Irwin added. “I want the club to hang on to all the players they have. Battles for places is vital.  “Heinze’s fantastic display against Bolton was the Gabriel Heinze of two years ago and it was great to see.”

Liverpool target Deportivo La Coruna striker Arizmendi
AS says Benitez has been following Arizmendi for some months and had scouts track the young forward in several Depor away games. The one stumbling block for Benitez is Atletico Madrid, which have the option to re-sign Arizmendi at the end of this season for a knockdown £2 million.

Man Utd watch as Atletico react to latest Torres doubts
A major target for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, it’s emerged that Torres has spoken about leaving Atletico while away with the Spain squad over the last week. “If Fernando Torres wanted to leave, he would have done so already,” insisted Cerezo. “But he’s happy at Atletico Madrid. He wants to win trophies, beat Real Madrid, like everyone here.”

Asked about the reports regarding Torres’ comments while with Spain, Cerezo said: “Knowing Fernando as I do, I find it difficult that he would make such statements. As always, it’s something to do with the people involved in the subject, I am simply an interested spectator. “He has a contract and wants to fulfil it and we want him to fulfil it.”

New Review On Site: Centrebet

Lab Tested !! Click for our bookie eval methodWe’ve added another bookmaker to the list of safe, reputable and all round ‘good to bet with’ sites we rate and recommend!

This actually does not happen often. If fact, in the last year only 3 bookies have been added. We reassess each quarter but once a sportsbook makes the grade we keep all site content on them up-to-date (often with daily changes as we bet with each of these guys ourselves).

To justify inclusion of these 3 ‘new bookies’ 3 less useful sports bookmakers have been dropped in the same period.

So what?
Well, If you’re looking:
1. …to improve your betting odds
2. …for THE bookie for non Asian Handicap bets over the ‘summer’ Scandinavian football season
3. …for a top bookmaker offering online horse racing coverage (all major events globally)
4. …for a free £50 (or 100USD, 125AUD, 75€, 600 NOK-SEK-DKK) bet

>> Either read our review of Centrebet here or take our word on it  – they are well worth a look.

Centrebet International Limited is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. They’ve been around since 1967, and online since 1996. Centrebet is licenced and regulated and have over 250,000 customers making them one of the largest online being operations in the world. They’ve paid out over $500million in the last 5 years and employ 220+ staff in Australia and Europe.

Are you up to the Interwetten leaderboard challenge for top punter?

So you like to take long odds and fancy yourself as a savvy bettor?

Visit Interwetten’s ‘top ten winners’ page (image below) to see what I’m on about – Interwetten publishes a list of who’s won what in the last week. You can find this feature bottom right on their home page.

Greek, Dutch, Swiss and Spanish punters plus 2 Germans are currenttly topped by a guy called Ivan from Singapore. Ivan placed a system bet with odds of 1911 (and won 4 of the 6) to one to take out top spot.

This weeks leaderboard - like to see your name up there?

Ivans bet - not a bad effort!
Interwetten has come a long way since it’s establishment in 1990 in Vienna. The now Malta based and licenced online betting company is undoubtedly a football specialist and as you’d expect has over 65% of all it’s bets placed on “The beautiful game”.

Interwetten’s marketing team has recently made a real effort to tart up their website and so it’s now far more streamlined to find and place bets (all I really want in a bookie site!). It is still a little “vee haf vays of makink you bet” in places… but well worth a look-see if you’re after a good, safe, honest bookie. (SORRY, NO US BETTORS)
